The short answer
This website measures which pages are read, using Google Analytics, and only if you allow it. Until you press Allow, no analytics cookie is set and no visit is recorded. If you decline, or ignore the banner, nothing is measured. Either way the data is never used for advertising, never linked to an advertising profile, and never sold. There are no forms on this site. If you email the studio, that email is processed by the studio’s email provider in the normal way.
What is collected
Analytics, but only after you agree. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and which site referred you. It is loaded in denied state: advertising storage, advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off permanently, IP addresses are truncated, and the analytics cookie is only set once you press Allow.
Your answer to the banner. Yes or no is stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, so that you are not asked twice. Clearing your browser data clears it and the banner returns.
No pixels, no embeds. There is no advertising pixel, no chat widget and no third-party embed. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font network, so no request about your visit leaves this site to fetch them.
Hosting logs. The hosting provider records standard technical information about requests, including IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. These are retained by the provider under its own policy and are not used by The Healthy Digital Inc. to build a profile of you.
Email you send. If you write to the studio, the message and your email address are stored in the studio’s email account for as long as the business relationship or enquiry requires. That is a Google-operated mailbox.
What is never asked for
Do not send patient information, health records, or anything identifying a third party. This site is not set up to receive protected health information and does not need any to do its work. Anything of that kind received in error will be deleted and the sender told.
Sharing
Personal information is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It is processed by the hosting provider, the email provider, and, if you allowed analytics, by Google as the analytics provider, as part of delivering the site and replying to you. It is disclosed otherwise only where the law requires it. Analytics data is configured so that Google may not use it to build an advertising profile of you.
Your choices
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing ready@thehealthydigital.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. The section below lists the named rights that apply depending on where you live.
Your rights, by where you live
The rights below are listed because The Healthy Digital Inc. works with practices across the US and Canada, and the law that applies to you depends on where you are, not on where the studio is. Because this site collects nothing beyond hosting logs and the email you choose to send, most of these rights resolve to the same short answer: there is almost nothing held about you, and you can ask for what there is.
California (CCPA and CPRA). You may ask what categories of personal information are held about you and why, ask for a copy, ask for correction, and ask for deletion. You may direct a business not to sell or share your personal information: The Healthy Digital Inc. does not sell personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Analytics runs with Google’s advertising signals and ad personalisation disabled, so it does not feed an advertising profile. Declining the banner switches analytics off entirely. You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Washington (My Health My Data Act). This law covers consumer health data broadly, well beyond clinics and beyond HIPAA. This site collects no consumer health data: there is no form, no intake and no symptom quiz, and analytics records pages read, not anything about your health. If you email health information anyway, you may withdraw your consent to its processing and ask for it to be deleted, and that deletion is passed on to the email provider. Consumer health data is never sold.
Canada (PIPEDA). You may ask for access to the personal information held about you and for corrections to it. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Quebec (Law 25). In addition to access and correction, you may ask for your information in a portable format and ask that it stop being disseminated where the law allows. Mariya Di Luzio is the person responsible for the protection of personal information and is reached at ready@thehealthydigital.com.
Elsewhere. If your jurisdiction gives you rights over your personal data, they are honoured regardless of where you live. Requests are answered within 30 days.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
Changes
You may change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back. If a contact form, a booking tool or any other third-party service is added to this site, this page will be updated to say so before that service goes live, and the date above will change.
